Meet Neil from The Functioning Glutes

Neil is an Osteopath and lecturer living in Surrey, England. Neil graduated from the London School of Osteopathy in 2014 and now runs his own clinic in Haslemere, Surrey. Since graduating as an osteopath, Neil has strived to better understand human movement and biomechanics, which culminated in him achieving a fellowship with the Gray Institute in the USA in 2016. Studying in the US proved to be the catalyst for a transformation in how Neil, not only, treated his patients but also how he approached his own exercise and movement habits. Neil now lectures in human biomechanics and anatomy, and is always exploring and uncovering more transformative approaches to functional, sustainable human movement.
With a very keen interest in human anthropology and the aetiology of dysfunction, Neil has created an introductory and logical course framework that aims to explore the 'why' behind human pain and dysfunction. By putting the hips and glutes at the heart of the course, Neil aims to inspire his students to understand movement in a simple but transformative way. Neil is passionate about how basic changes and adaptations in our habits and movements can inspire profound change and unlock better, more sustainable patient outcomes.
